Three Powerful Men In One Park: The JJT Park
The launching of the JJT park has made Nigerians appreciate the importance of family and friends. The JJT Park which was opened by the present Governor of Lagos State, Mr Akinwunmi Ambode to honor Mobolaji Johnson, Alhaji Lateef Jakande and Bola Ahmed Tinubu is now considered to be a tourist attraction in Lagos Nigeria.
One amazing feature of this park is that entrance is free and you do not have to make payments to use any of the facilities. The JJT Park is constructed in a way to suit both adults and children.
There are so many interesting things to look forward to:
-The Children’s Section: This section was set up to encourage children to participate in physical activities. It also gives children an opportunity to interact and play with friends. The park provides Play good slides, Multiplayer station, Children swings, Bouncing Castle and a Trampoline for the kids .
-The Recreational area: JJT park provides huts where family and friends can have picnics. But what is a picnic if you can’t lay on the ground? Therefore, spaces are made for Ground picnics. All you have to do is bring your food and mats and pick a spot close to either the statue that represents Lagos ,The 3 faced statue or The Water fall. There is a section available to provide drinks , pastries, ice cream and even cotton candy for the kids.
-Free WiFi: The park provides free WiFi that works, I repeat it actually “works”. The WiFi is named “Lagos WiFi” . I know free WiFi makes people excited. I made sure I took pictures close to the water fall since that is my favorite spot and uploaded it online.
So take a picture at your favorite spot for the “gram”.
Location: Alausa Ikeja, right next to Lagos State House of Assembly.
