For one month every year, five highly competitive friends hit the ground running in a no-holds-barred game of tag they’ve been playing since the first grade–risking their necks, their jobs and their relationships to take each other down with the battle cry “You’re It!” This year, the game coincides with the wedding of their only undefeated player, which should finally make him an easy target. But he knows they’re coming… and he’s ready. Based on a true story, “Tag” shows how far some guys will go to be the last man standing.
Holla people, we are at the beginning of the second half of the year and we are feeling ecstatic because it’s almost the end of the year(we have five months to go, yeah).
This movie is based on a true live story of a group of 10 men that have played the game of TAG for the past 23 years.
It’s a nice movie. They picked wonderful actors to play the characters. This movie is basically reminding all of us of good friendship(friendship is not about how long you’ve known each other but how much you k now each other).
It would have been more fun if they had done a documentary on the real-life group of friends(these guys below )
PS:In the picture above, they are 11 men because they took a group photograph with a reverend father from their high school.
We must say the trailer looks way better than the movie. It drags on for too long(a group of friends just running around) and there’s nothing really spectacular about it.
DEFINITELY NOT IT
The game goes flat, not only for the actors but for the audience as well. A lack of effort is also exhibited on the part of the script writer. There is no plot, just a lot of chasing and running around in different locations. If you like the trailer, just know that those are the best parts and you’re not missing out on anything. This is a forgettable comedy movie.
We are rating this movie 4/10.
