[MOVIE REVIEW] The Darkest Minds: Here’s How We Really Feel
The Darkest Minds begins with teens mysteriously developing powerful new abilities, leading to them being declared a threat by the government and detained. Sixteen-year-old Ruby, one of the most powerful young people anyone has encountered, escapes her camp and joins a group of runaway teens seeking safe haven. Soon this newfound family realizes that, in a world in which the adults in power have betrayed them, running is not enough and they must wage a resistance, using their collective power to take back control of their future.

On to the review for DARKEST MINDS.
We must say the only thing we found quite interesting about this movie is the fact that most of the characters are young (ranging from 8-21). If this movie had come out about 5-10 years ago, we might have found it intriguing and possibly interesting. But oh well, it came out probably 7 years too late.
This movie is not really concerned with giving us a good story/plot or showing us interesting characters, all they want to do is to begin a franchise, because definitely with the way this movie ended there will be a part 2 and probably a part 3(since all movies want to become a franchise these days). They failed at that tho, to make matters worse, everything in this movie we have seen before. It takes bits and pieces from other popular sci-fi movies we have seen before. It seems like there was lack of effort. This is one awkward and uneven film, it is also badly edited and lacks a flow that works together. Even with so much colors mentioned in the movie, it is just a gray, a blotch in our memory we want to erase forever. The ending is very annoying and unsatisfactory.
OUR DARK MINDS
We were so pissed that we ended up pouring all our anger in “THE BAD“. we definitely won’t recommend you going to the cinema to see this particular movie. You can wait for it to come out for downloads though.
We are rating this movie 4/10
